This cool home has three renovated full baths---two with walk-in showers, and the third with a tub---and three bedrooms with new hardwood floors. Two bedrooms have direct access to a very private deck.

Roof, furnace, and water heater have all recently been replaced. Freshly painted walls, new hardwood floors, renovated baths, quality replacement windows throughout. Just move right in!

The plan

The L-shaped entry hall leads from the front door to either the living room and first bedroom, or to the back deck and dining room. The expansive living room opens to the tiled sunroom. From the living room, you can see through the kitchen into the paneled dining room. The first bedroom has a full-renovated attached bath. This bedroom has two doors so it can be reached from the front of the house, or the middle. The third bedroom is tucked behind the dining room and has its own access to the deck. Continue past the dining room to find a hall bath, the second door to the first bedroom, and the second bedroom on your left. The second bedroom is an alternate primary bedroom because it has a walk-in closet and dressing room as well as sliding doors to a private area of the deck. Bedrooms two and three share a jack-and-jill bathroom. Walk through it to bedroom three and continue back out to the dining room and you have made the full circuit of the house.

I suspect the third bedroom was once two bedrooms because it is so large. There used to be a door from it to the dining room, opposite the third bedroom door, suggesting one bedroom used the now covered door and a fourth used the current door to the hall, close to the hall bathroom.

An owner who wants to use bedroom two with the walk-in closet and dressing area but doesn’t want to share a bathroom with bedroom three has two good options. 1) Have the occupant of the third bedroom use the hall bath and keep the shared bath for exclusive use of the second bedroom. 2) Incorporate the hall bath into the second bedroom, closing off the extra door to bedroom one and creating three suites with private baths!
