Well Enough Wednesday for May 12

Every week I hold my breath hoping to find lots of cool original features in new listings on the market…and this week I could exhale! We have a few special features to appreciate this week.

Unless noted, these are not my listings. Click the links for full details, and, as always, I’m happy to help you buy any one of them!

The first is this country retreat in Millington. I see original hardwood floors, what look to be original kitchen cabinets, grasscloth wallpaper, brick floors, speckled tile, fun wallpaper, and a big pool. Not to mention over 100 acres!

Next up, we have this bright 1955 charmer. It has two beautiful tiled bathrooms. I can’t be sure, but the kitchen cabinets look to be either very well-maintained originals, or more recent cabinets that are nevertheless in keeping with mid-century style.

This 1980 contemporary has a lot going on, but I’m here for the stair railings. It’s already under contract, so apparently, others agree.

Now we have this awesome fireplace. It reminds me a lot of the fireplace in our first home, with the asymmetry and the pole at the corner.

Lights….and more lights….if you do not like putting on makeup in poor lighting, or you just really really want a good look at your gorgeous face, here’s a vanity for you! This is the dressing area of the primary bedroom suite of my East Memphis listing. Counter space, sink, good lighting, a place to sit—perfect!
